Number 73, named “the best number in the world” by Sheldon Cooper has many distinctive features such as 73 being the 21st prime number. If we reverse it, we get 37, which is the 12th prime number. If we reverse this one, we get 21…which is the result of 7 multiplied by 3.
This initial conjecture about the peculiarities of number 73, which were first pointed out by the TV character, were proven true years later through the mathematical demonstrations of Carl Pomerance, professor at New Hampshire Dartmouth College and University of Georgia, and Christopher Spicer, professor at Morningside University in Iowa.
This is why FECAMM likes this number, which proves itself to be special without the need of being obviously special. Because special and unique things are always around us.
